Description:

The following item depicts an engraving by Henry Bryan Hall & Sons. The subject of the engraving is Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States. Jefferson is depicted as a bust-length figure sitting in the center of the frame. He is dressed in a black suit with a white undershirt. His name is both annotated in a signature and printed on the page. The date for the printed engraving has been estimated between 1850-1880 by a comparison with a manuscript digitized on the Old Print Shop’s website.
