Description:

The following item depicts a newspaper advertisement for the Miners Bank and their celebrating 75 years in business. The advertisement includes a graphic of the bank, drawn in geometric, fine lines, with the title, “It Took Vision.” It contains the dates of the business’ celebratory service, beginning on July 9, 1868, and being celebrated today on the 9th of July, in 1943. There is a blurb accompanying the image of the bank, which expresses the determination and vision it took to see the business through “clouds of wars and depressions,” and ends with a note of confidence that is born from both their own work and the loyalty of their clientele.
