Description:
The following item, dated February 19-20, 1964, includes a notarized notice of purchase and the accompanying receipt for Dorothy Chapman Stets.The notice of purchase provides confirmation that an advertisement is being published for the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader for $8.25. Article is depicted in 16.00 Item 4n. This is the proof of publication signed by Kitti O H Conner who was a bookkeeper for the paper. This form is also signed by James H. Hopper, who is the public notary working for them. This was made to ensure that the ad Dorothy C. Stets bought would not be a tampered contractor within any way. A receipt that totals how much was spent on that ad is also included. The total amount was $8.25.
