Description:
The following item, dated December 15, 1977, depicts a weekly bulletin entitled the Harrisburg Builders Exchange, to demonstrate what the contractors were working on. The first section of this bulletin is on Private Projects members of the Exchange were hired on. These projects were for businesses and organizations in the Eastern Pennsylvania region.There are two projects in Luzerne County. The first is for the construction of an addition on a Kingston municipal building. This entry has a red checkmark made near Luzerne County. The second project is for the construction of squash courts for a school in the Wilkes Barre school district. The bulletin also includes lists of Government Projects and Apparent Low Bidders. The final page is the Exchange welcoming new members and encouraging contractors to hire members of the Exchange.
