Description:
A bookplate of Dorothy Turnbull Greer. There is a bookshelf with leaves on top of it. Above the bookshelf there is text that reads “My Book.” Below the bookshelf there is text that reads “Dorothy Turnbull Greer 429 Denniston Avenue, Pittsburgh.” Bookplate collector Dorothy Turnbull Greer was born in April 1900 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her mother was Grace Minnie Holt Greer and her father was William Philpot Greer. She had two siblings, Harry Holt Greer and Agnes F. Philpot Greer. She got married to James John Johnston in 1924. They had two children, James John Johnston and Anna Philpot Johnston. She died on April 15, 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was buried at Homewood Cemetery.
