Description:
This is a list of military equipment written by Simon Cridland. Fort Edward was Formerly known as Fort Lyman, Fort Edward was situated on the east bank of the Hudson, about fifty miles north of Albany. The fort was built in 1755 by General Phinneas Lyman of Connecticut while he was encamped there with six thousand troops waiting for General William Johnson, the commander-in-chief of the expedition against the French at Ticonderoga and Crown Point.
