Description:
This is a letter from George Mifflin Dallas to Harry Wright on February 16, 1863. This letter agrees to a request that is unknown from a previous letter sent to Dallas from Wright. Dallas wrote this letter a year before passing away. The creator of this letter, George Dallas, was born in Pennsylvania in 1792. He is best known for serving as vice president of the United States from 1845 to 1849. Dallas was a mayor in Philadelphia, U.S. minister to the United Kingdom, and was even elected to the American Philosophical Society.
