Description:
This is a letter from Anna Dodd to Mrs. Dana on an unknown date. Bowman starts off this letter by apologizing for not writing/answering Mrs. Dana sooner. Bowman then agrees to meet up with Mrs. Dana at three to “search for stories.” Bowman also expresses her excitement to see Dana’s sketches at four. The creator of this letter, Anna Dodd, was born in New York in 1855. Dodd was an author who wrote novels, books, essays, short stories, and a series of articles. Dodd wrote this letter about the author not being able to go to a rendez-vous.
Transcription:
Dear Mrs. Dana
I owe you a hundred apologies for not answering your note earlier. -Yes- Mr. Dodd will be delighted to go in search of stories with you at three today.
And I am already looking forward to seeing Mr. Dana’s sketches at four!
With thanks for some good info giving me the chance.
Love
Very Cordially
