Description:

This is a letter to W. J. Cost from James Hackett on November 22, 1856. The letter is about a person receiving a letter in Boston but they’re questioning if they sent a letter to New York if it would have gotten there quicker. The creator of this letter, James Henry Hackett, was born in New York in 1800. Hackett dropped out of college and began studying law privately. He quickly realized his passion for stage acting so he became an actor.
