Description:

This is a letter from Gabriel Hiester Jr. to George Hollenbeck on March 17, 1828. The letter is regarding the formation of a Pennsylvania political association. Prior to this letter, George Hollenback served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, making him a good candidate for assisting in the creation of the political association. The document is also signed by Richard T. Leech. At the time of this letter, Hiester was serving as surveyor general of Pennsylvania.
