Description:
This is a letter from Anthony Thornton to someone unknown on May 12, 1838. Anthony is going to come to his friend’s home during the afternoon. The creator of this letter, Anthony Thornton, was born in Kentucky in 1814. Thornton was a lawyer who ended up serving on the Illinois Supreme Court and was a House of Representatives member from Illinois.

Dear sir
I wish be with you this afternoon at about 2 with the info of my mother’s work and caring for purchase the bills for me. They may be if you please all at 9 months - unclear of what settled your — at haste.
