Description:
This is a letter from James Wilkinson to John Armstrong on September 12, 1792. This letter is about moving a military convoy. The creator of this letter, James Wilkinson, was born in Maryland in 1792. Wilkinson was a Senior Officer in the U.S. Army and the first governor of the Louisiana Territory.

If you ^are consistent with the progress of the work in hand spare two of the stationary wagons with you, I wish you to go to the Articles of the Q. M. Dept. [Department] which have not been sent out, are not in Store, nor are they to be purchased- they must be manufactured. By the next convoy I shall send out four lawyers:---in the meantime. I rely on your utmost exertions in providing the public works-I am
