Description:

An engraving of James Jackson with a quote about liberty. Jackson was born in England in 1757. He immigrated to Georgia in 1772 and was a politician who served in both the United States House of Representatives and the Senate. Jackson was also elected to the First United States Congress.

Transcription:

“Eternal Vigilance is the Price of Liberty.”
