He was a Founding Father of the United States, signing the Continental Association and Declaration of Independence as a representative of Massachusetts. He was accepted to Harvard College at ust 14 years old. He had a prominent judicial and political career in the state, going on to serve as the state’s first attorney general and as an associate justice for the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
