The following item dated May 1, 1949, depicts a photocopy of a map of Exeter. This map has a note on the back of the manuscript by Blanchard, which states that the lands in the map contain the estate of Sarah Blanchard, and explains the boundaries of the lands, and notes the reserves of coal and mineral rights that have been sold to the German Green Coal company. Different details on this map detail the surrounding area, such as the inclusion of public and ferry roads. These reservations of coal rights to the company can be seen in other manuscripts with Sarah Blanchard’s lands, such as in Series II: The McClintock Family Series, item a deed between Andrew Todd McClintock and Sarah Blanchard, item 75.
