Description:

The following item is a map published by the Wyoming National Bank, depicting the battle grounds of the Wyoming Massacre, or the Battle of Wyoming, printed in 1928 by Richard S. Smith. The pamphlet lists the names of the original 40 proprietors sent to the region by the Susquehanna Land Company, a group of Connecticut land speculators of the 18th century. The index also includes a list of additional early settlers in the valley, as well as the names of historic sites, including the military forts that were erected, guard and block houses, and monuments
