Description:

The following item depicts a map of Pennsylvania, created by John Reid in 1796. It is an uncolored map that depicts counties, towns, and topography of the Pennsylvania region. There are pictorial drawings of mountains, like Bald Eagle Mountains, waterfalls such as Nonticoke falls, rivers such as the Delaware and Susquehanna, creeks with annotations, such as Tobys Creek, Sandy Lick, and others, Lake Erie, and boundary lines of the counties. There are annotations of the neighboring states, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia. The map is created by the latest version of the surveys for each of the regions.
