Description:

A typewritten copy of a land survey from Samuel Wright to Harrison Wright. The top of the page reads as a description of Wright Lots 7 & 8, and the contents reads as a survey of the land by measures of latitude and longitude. There appears to have been 147 acres included in these groups, and they were labeled as “Connecticut” and stood as a part of Pittston township. The second section of the paper describes how Samuel Wright sold a land of the same description in 1809, then in 1845 a Hanah Paul sold the same description to a Stout, proving that Harrison Wright owned the land before someone named Griffith who sold it to Coal Co. The date for the item has been estimated by the life dates of the younger Wright, Harrison.
