They have been thoroughly researched by using primary and secondary sources available digitally, and named in each description, or in some cases linked directly to the person tag.

Description:
This is a photocopy of a hand drawn map of land divisions and properties in one area. Each box of land contains the owner’s name at the least, and some have measured perimeters, dates (marked as WT and SUR.; the latter of which is believed to be the surveyed date). The names/owners listed are the following: George Taylor, David Andrews, William Evans, George Fell, John Green, Paul Aten, Nelson Coolbaugh, Joseph Hunter, Loami Race, Zeno Albro, Zepheniah Knapp, Charles Drake, Daniel Turner, Andrew Henderson, Samuel Reed, and Josiah Lewis. Some landmarks are also labeled, including a reservoir, roads, and stones that mark certain boundaries. There are solid and dotted lines marking properties, and the solid line is marked “orig.” in some areas, so it may be the original property lines prior to a survey or sale. It seems mostly focused around the land of Joseph Hunter, whose area is central in the sheet and detailed further than some along the edges. The bottom right corner of the paper also has a faded marking, presumably from the photocopy paper or something of that sort, marked as Sturdevant Engineering Co.
The location of this item has been estimated as possibly in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, due to a company stamp by the Sturdevant Coal Company in the bottom right hand corner of the item stating such location.
