Description:

The following item depicts a typescript copy of a land sale from Jeremiah Blanchard to Jeremiah Blanchard Jr. for £125 for a plot of land in Pittston on January 1 1792. The land in question, lot 6 of Pittston, is marked by a description of its relations to other lots in the area, being near to Jonathan Stark, Arthur Irwin, and containing 158 acres. It confirms the sale and transfers all rights from Blanchard Sr. to Blanchard Jun. and his descendants, as well as listing witnesses, Enos Brown and John Phillips, at the end.
