Subseries II: National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts, 1986 - 2003
This subseries contains materials from The National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts from 1986-2003. The organization was founded in 1937, and serves as the sole national service organization for providers of community arts education. The National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts is now known as The National Guild for Community Arts Education. They serve membership of over 400 organizations and individuals and span 46 states in the United States. Their mission is “to ensure all people have opportunities to maximize their creative potential by developing leaders, strengthening organizations, and advocating for community arts education. This subseries is separated into three subsubseries: Subsubseries I: Board Materials, 1988-1990, Subsubseries II: Certificates, 1993-2003, Subsubseries III: Notes, 1990-1993. This subseries is ordered by date, from earliest to most recent.
