The following item depicts a photograph copy of a postcard of the Court House and Public Square, Wilkes Barre, PA. The court house and square are in the upper third of the collage, with the bottom right depicting a colliery and mine, while the left shows a couple of miners and mules standing before a mine tunnel. The one pair are pulling a coal cart out. The accompanying copied envelope is addressed by Jack and dated June of 1957. It states that these are early pictures of the area, which appear to be the Wyoming valley, from Paul Vanderber, who is possibly from Wisconsin.
