Description:

The following item depicts a photograph copy of a postcard captioned “Trailing Up the Mountain Road, Wilkes Barre, PA, published by A. A. Zwieble, Ambrode August Zwieble. The image depicts multiple carriages and horses traveling up a dirt road. There is rocky terrain on either side of the road, with a dense forest, and electrical poles. The coloring is black and white. The accompanying copied envelope is addressed by Jack and dated June of 1957. It states that these are early pictures of the area, which appear to be the Wyoming valley, from Paul Vanderber, who is possibly from Wisconsin.
