Condition Note:

This silk handkerchief says “Greetings from Camp Hancock, Augusta, Ga. - Remember Me - Sweet be to thee life’s passing hours. And all thy path be decked with flowers.” The silk in many places on this handkerchief has disintegrated, especially along the fold lines of the handkerchief. The color on the red stripes are slightly faded, but still with excellent color. The words are legible and the pictures are also visible. The handkerchief has many tears or missing threads and should be handled delicately.
