The materials were acquired from the Marketing and Public Relations department. The method of acquistion is unknown - they were located in the University Archives in December 2012 when arrangement and description of the collection began.

Most non-duplicate extant documents were retained. Duplicates and documents containing personal information with no historic value were excluded.
