Conditions Governing Access

Due to personal contact information for alumni, access to directories is restricted to Wilkes University employees conducting university business for 100 years after their publication. Archives staff may refer to directories as a part of a research process for non-employee patrons that ends in a publicly available collection, such as a yearbook, but they may not provide information available solely in the directories to non-employee patrons. Any requests for such access or information will be forwarded to Alumni Relations. Directories are opened to public access 100 years after their date of publication.

Conditions Governing Use

Wilkes University holds the copyright to the 1977, 1988, 1993, and 1997 editions. The Bernard C. Harris Publishing Company holds the copyright to the 1982-83, 2002, and 2007 editions.

Method of Acquisition

The materials were in the University Archives when description of the collection began in 2012. Some items included in the library catalog have a record created date of September 2011, which indicates that they were cataloged prior the library's 2011 move to the Millennium ILS. The method of acquisition is unknown.
