Scope and Contents

The Wilkes Magazine, also known as the Wilkes Alumnus, the Alumni Report, Wilkes Quarterly, Wilkes Universe, and Wilkes and is a periodical publication that updates Wilkes alumni on events at Wilkes University. It documents the activities of the administration, faculty, students, and athletes at Wilkes. It features frequent articles on the history of Wilkes. Some issues of the Annual Report of Gifts were published in the Alumnus.

Method of Acquisition

The method of acquistion is unknown - some issues were located in the University Archives in December 2012 when arrangement and description of the collection began. Some library bound copies were cataloged before the Millenium ILS was acquired in 2011. Vicki Mayk donated two sets of the Wilkes World and Wilkes Magazine in 2014 that were used to fill in gaps in the collection.
