Okay. The paper is browning, the edges are tattered, there is an unobtrusive missing section of the paper, and there are minor folds and stains present.

Description:

This letter written by Samuel Hunter informs Zebulon Butler of forty barrels of flour that he is delivering from Lancaster, Cumberland, and York counties.

Transcription:

Fort Augusta Dec 7th 1780 Sir Yours of 25th Ist I received in Which you would be Desirous to know if my Orders in Regard of stoping [sic] any Provisions Purchased by the Commissioners of Lancaster Cumberland or Yorks Countys [sic] for the Post at Wyoming continues in force, they have never been countermanded But as you write me that you have leatly [sic] received an Order from Congress for the Commissioner of Cumberland County to send you forty Barrels of Flower, its more then I can do to let its pass this, Except the order is Produced by the person you send for the Flower which will keep me safe, suppose Mr. Stewart makes very light of the orders I rec’d from the Governor.
