Title:

Books Relating to the Connecticut Claims

Description:

A typed document describing different resources that document the Connecticut claims on Wyoming Valley land. The books that are mentioned in this list focus on the Connecticut claims in the Susquehanna Controversy, which was a controversy between Connecticut and Pennsylvania settlers over their claim to lands within the Wyoming Valley region. These land claims resulted in the Pennamite-Yankee wars in the mid-to-late 18th century. The last page has a list of resources that focus on Pennsylvania’s claim on the Wyoming Valley region.
