Title:

Wyoming. A Tale.

Description:

This is a fiction novel written by Caleb E. Wright. Wright was a native of Wilkes Barre, and was considered highly influential there. He was a lawyer and a celebrated author throughout the 19th century. Wright was a member of Pennsylvania's Constitutional Convention in 1874. The convention revised the laws of the state. President Johnson also appointed Wright as the collector of internal revenue in 1866. He published six novels in his life, most taking place in Pennsylvania. This novel follows a group who are settling in Wyoming. The novel follows the Henderson settlers as they encounter Native Americans and how they adapt to the Wyoming settlement.
