Subseries II.I: Photographs, c.1829-1924, is arranged alphabetically by photographer’s last name or subject’s last name featured within the photograph and contains photographs of artwork either found in the Atherton home or relate to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Some works are photographs of replicated pieces dating back to the 14th and 16th centuries like Le Retable D’Isenheim (The Isenheim Altarpiece), by Matthias Grünewald and Discobolo di Mirone, by Myron.
