Description:

An engraving of a man casting a fishline into Sawkill Falls. The point of view looks up at the subject making the falls look even taller as birds pass through the landscape. The manuscript was originally published in the September 1875 issue of The Aldine. Our manuscript, among a number of images, can be seen on the Jstor web page.
