Description:
An etching of a German Shepherd; a police dog. This print was created by Marguerite Louisa Kirmse. Marguerite Louisa Kirmse was a British artist born in Bournemouth on December 14, 1885. She emigrated to the United States and often drew and etched dogs. Her older sister, Persis Kirmse had also specialized in drawing cats and dogs. She died on December 12, 1954.
