Description:

Three profile paper cuts of people by Johann Georg Seitz. Johann Georg Seitz was born in Nuremberg on March 14, 1810 and was a German-Austrian painter. Sources indicate he studied at the Vienna Academy and his oil paintings demonstrated still lifes with flowers or fruits. Some of his work has been exhibited at the academy and he was referred to as an “excellent landscape painter.” He died in Vienna, Austria in 1870.
