Description:

This is a photograph of a wood engraving depicting the Delaware Water Gap. Men are seen in a boat floating on the river as well as a lush grouping of trees towards the foreground. Mountains can be seen in the distance and reflect on the water. The Delaware Water Gap is located on the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania where the Delaware River cuts through the Appalachian Mountains. The Gap is made up of the southern part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area that is now used for boating, fishing, hiking, and rock climbing. More works by J. W.
