Description:

This is a photograph of a painting of Wilkes-Barre, East End, Baltimore Coal Mines. On the back of the photograph is handwriting and annotations in regards to the size of the photograph. According to Valley Views of Northeastern Pennsylvania, by Gilbert S. McClintock, “A view of the “East End” section of Wilkes-Barré, from the mountains on the east. In the right foreground is the Baltimore Breaker No. 2 of The Hudson Coal Company.
