Second American Map of State

Description:

These clippings appear to be advertisements for the sale of an original copy of the first several drawn maps of Pennsylvania originating from 1791/1792. The cartographer appears to be Reading Howell or Samuel Lewis. This map is on sale for $20, which, when adjusted for inflation, is approximately $240 today.
