Dear Doctor and Mrs. Vujica!

May I be so bold and rude as to try to share with you some of my thoughts of life at my age of 81? Many of them may be incorrect for no one reason has ever lived long enough to be exposed to all of eternal truth sufficiently to have arrived at perfect and complete wisdom. I do believe however that time and the universe are [lawful] disciplinarians in the correction of [unwarranted] conclusions. In fact [ever/err?] the statement of an error, as truth could sometimes hasten its destruction! I hope you are both in good health and sincerely well in your important fields of service to humanity. Hazel has been granted a half year absence from teaching again while she writes another book. her salary to continue as usual for a while. Both Mrs Barnes and I are in rather poor health, increasingly so. but we are up and around the house most of the days for much of the time. Sincerely yours Olin Barnes
