Description:
The following item depicts a printed receipt for furniture purchases by Gilbert Stuart McClintock from a London antiques dealer named Stuart and Turner Limited. The store is owned by A. Stuart Beazley and Cecil F. Turner, with C. Dudley named as the director. The account shows purchases of multiple windsor arm chairs, oak cricket tables, and a tripod table. The entire account came to a price of 80 pounds, 15 shilling, and zero pence. There was a special price for the bundle, which was 77 pounds, 0 shilling, and 0 pence, and the receipt notes that McClintock paid on the account with $250.00 cash. The balance on the account was 25 pounds, 15 shilling, and 5 pence. The bottom of the page indicates that the balance was received on July 16, 1926, and is signed by W.H. Dyke.
