Description:

The photograph depicts the interior of a kitchen, with a hearth on the right hand side of the frame, two windows on the background wall, and a small table in the center that looks to be used in food prep. The interior is built entirely from wood, with paneling on the walls and original hardwood floors. There is a gun above the mantel, with four candlesticks, two at each end, and various knicknacks. The photograph is believed to be from the Bear Creek home owned by the McClintocks. Gilbert Stuart McClintock is supposed to be the creator of the photograph as he has other photographs that he sold in auctions within the collection, item (1.60) “A Photograph of the “[Basilica] Santa Maria della Salute,” taken by Gilbert Stuart McClintock, [ca. Mid-twentieth century]. (removed to Oversized Box #1)”, as well as another photo album of their house, item (1
