Scope and Contents Gilbert Stuart McClintock was named Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Wilkes College. He worked as a lawyer, and considered the advancement of Wilkes his special cause. McClintock was known as an autograph collector, specializing in autographs significant to American History. He has autographs from all of the US presidents up to and including Dwight D. Eisenhower. The earliest autograph in his collection is from Charles V of France.
